I love coffee. I love everything about it – the smell, the flavor, the feel of running beans through my fingers, the sound of a coffee maker at its business. Beer is good, wine is delightful, soda is… sickly sweet and I don’t care for it often. But a good mug of coffee is a daily pleasure. It is one of God’s finest gifts.

I think the number of days between blog posts has officially hit double digits. Really hadn’t planned on that, but I guess that’s how it goes this time of year. Mission trips are an amazingly wonderful experience, and I enjoy that part of my ministry probably most of all. But they come with a price, and that price is time. Time has been in very short supply relative to the demand these past couple weeks.
So I won’t spend a lot of time on this post talking about how much catching up I have to do. I won’t spend a lot of time talking about how awesome my mission trip week with 14 young people eager to share Jesus was (but it was amazing!). Instead I’m going to take the quick way out, post a little video encouragement, and whistle as I walk away. Hopefully the next couple weeks will see a return to business as usual and a little more consistency in my blogging here as well.
